Pelagic reactor is a tiny indie games studio based near Achill that winked into existence in August 2014 as a result of James having a few zany ideas for games that seemed good enough to make

Currently staffed only by James, some of the projects include Shield Yield and Clank Tank, and previous work includes Wrongcoming Traffic (as part of Chilled Banana Interactive)

As for the name, It was something I came up with whilst fishing and thinking about radiation, simple as that.

James is a grumpy cynical 21 year old who has dreamed of becoming a Game developer since the age of 10 after giving up on his dream of being a Doctor.

He’s been a lifelong gamer since age 4, starting out on the PS1 in 1998 playing such classics as Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro

He wants to focus on programming but has to create art and music too.
